About Hosthaus

Hosthaus is a family-run business managing high-end Airbnb and short-term rentals in the Bernese Highlands and across Switzerland.

We are locals. The Bernese Highlands is home, and we know the seasons, the regulations, and the difference between a listing in Wimmis, Spiez, Interlaken, or elsewhere in Switzerland that merely looks presentable and one that actually stands out and books well.

At the same time, we bring perspective from outside the local market: between us, we have spent more than 20 years living in the United States, where we got to know a service standard that often goes further than what is treated as normal here.

Hosthaus is built around one simple principle: owners and operators should be on the same side of the table. That is why we earn a share of revenue and nothing else.
